Amanda Odish, C.T.H.P., is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, voice teacher, therapeutic musician, and humanitarian who has over 18 years of experience as a classical vocalist and performer. By 9 years old, she began her training as an opera singer and has now merged her love of classical vocals with the therapeutic harp. Amanda Odish loves using binaural beat brainwave entrainment & nature sounds with her skill, intense training, and knowledge of therapeutic harp music. She is currently a full-time Dean's list student at San Diego State University, pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She has graduated from the International Harp Therapy Program as a Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner and has completed an internship at Apreva Hospice. Amanda has experience playing therapeutic harp music at various facilities around San Diego such as Narzerath House, Bay View, Bella Vista, Monte Vista Village, and La Mesa Health Care Center, as well as making In-Home visits.

          Amanda is also the founder and owner of Helping Harps, which is a small business dedicated to meeting the needs of those experiencing distressing health issues through the use of therapeutic music. She especially loves to sing and play therapeutic harp music for dementia patients, hospice patients, and for infants in the NICU. Her Arabic, Irish, Scottish, and Italian linage is reflected by her great love of singing and playing traditional Celtic songs, Middle Eastern improvisation, and classical Italian arias. She sees her music as a service to others with the intention of promoting inner peace, comfort, and relaxation.

       Her training in the Certification Program for Audio Engineering and Production at the Globe Institute enabled her to utilize her skills in the making of her first album, Therapeutic Harp Music with Nature Sounds and Binaural Beats. 

It is her ultimate goal to achieve her Master's degree in Psychology where she can have her own private practice that will utilize the beneficial effects of Therapeutic Music, Nutritherapy, Ayurvedic medicine, Hypnotherapy, E.F.T., and Biofeedback.
